Collaboration & Sharing

Work together in real time — share gardens, see live cursors, and manage roles.

Sharing a garden

Click the share button in the top bar to invite other users to your garden. Enter their email address and choose a role — Viewer (browse only) or Editor (full access to create, edit, and connect thoughts).

Real-time presence

When multiple users are working in the same garden, you see each other's cursors moving on the canvas in real time. Each collaborator gets a unique color so you can tell who is where.

Roles and permissions

Gardens support three roles: Owner (full control, can delete the garden and manage members), Editor (can create, edit, and connect thoughts), and Viewer (read-only access). Only the owner can change roles or remove members.

Offline and sync

Neural Garden is local-first — you can work offline and changes sync automatically when you reconnect. If two people edit the same thought offline, changes merge gracefully when both come back online. An indicator in the UI shows your current sync status.

Tip: You always have a local copy of your data, even when the server is unreachable.
